We all have our favourite sweet and sour chutney and this summer season let's make a new recipe of Watermelon Chutney..
Necessary materials
- Two cups of white part of watermelon rind cut into small pieces
- A teaspoon of dry grated coriander
- Half a teaspoon of cumin seeds
- Four -Five sweet neem leaves
- Two spoons of whole coriander
- Four to five dry red chillies
- Two spoons of oil for adding
- Half a teaspoon tamarind pulp
- One spoon of roasted sesame seeds

How to make Tasty Watermelon Bark Chutney
- Peel the red part of the Watermelon.
- Then scoop out the white part from the peel which is to be consumed.
- Cut this portion into medium size pieces.
- Now heat a pan and dry roast the white pieces of watermelon in it.
- Fry for two to three minutes so that the water gets burnt.
- Now heat half teaspoon of oil in a pan.
- Now add gram dal, cumin, garlic bud, ginger piece, dry coriander, whole coriander, neem and dry red chillies and saute.
- When the aroma starts coming, turn off the gas and let it cool down.
- Now grind the watermelon rind and roasted spices together in a mixer.
- Grind like a thick sauce.
- Add tamarind pulp as per taste.
- Now heat oil in a pan for vaghar. Add rye and hing to it.
- After that pour this waghar over the chutney and mix.
- Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds on top.
- This chutney can be served with dhokla, idli or dosa.
