What are the basic ingredients in making Garlic Potatoes
- 10-12 boiled potatoes
- 15-20 cloves of garlic
- Oil as required
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4-5 tsp red chilli powder
- Water as needed
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- 1 Small dungarees modified
- 1 tomato weed improved
- 1 teaspoon garam masala

Method of making
STEP-1: To make garlic potatoes, first wash the potatoes with water. Then take a glass of water in a cooker, put potatoes in it and add salt as per taste, cover the cooker and let it cook for 4-5 whistles.
STEP-2: Then turn off the gas, let the cooker cool till the air escapes.
STEP-3: Once the potatoes are cool, peel them and peel them.
STEP-4: Now add half a teaspoon of salt in the peeled potatoes, 2 teaspoons of red chili powder, half a teaspoon Add garam masala and one spoon of oil and mix well with light hand.
STEP-5: Cover the potatoes and keep aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
STEP-6: Grind the garlic cloves and red chili powder in a bowl and make a paste.
STEP-7: After 10 minutes heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a pan on gas
STEP-8: When the oil heats up, add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Then add finely chopped onion in it
STEP-9: Saute till the onion turns golden brown.
STEP-10: Then add the cured tomatoes and saute it until the oil separates.
STEP-11: Now add garlic chutney in it till the chutney gets fried properly.
STEP-12: Now add coriander powder and garam masala and mix well.
STEP-13: After that mash 1-2 marinated potatoes and mix.
STEP-14: After that add half a cup of hot water and mix for 3 to 4 minutes to prepare a smooth gravy.
STEP-15: Now add the marinated potatoes and mix lightly. Add salt if required and mix. Then lastly add green coriander and serve hot.
