How to make a Ghooghara indian Foods 


What are the 11 basic ingredients in making Ghooghara 

  1. 1 cup of all purpose (maida) flour
  2. 4-5 spoons of semolina
  3. 2-3 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
  4. 4-5 spoons of powdered sugar
  5. 2-3 tablespoons chopped almonds
  6. 2-3 tbsp cashew nuts
  7. 1-2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
  8. 1-2 teaspoons of raisins
  9. 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  10. 1/2 cup ghee
  11. Ghee / Oil for bathing

What is material used in recipe in Making a Ghooghara?


STEP-1:  To make Ghooghara, first heat a pan on gas. Now put two to three spoons of ghee in a pan and heat the ghee.


STEP-2:  When the ghee is heated enough, put semolina in it, stir it with a spoon and roast it on low heat till it turns golden (when the semolina is roasted, add cashew nuts, pistachio nuts, almonds, raisins and roast it with semolina in a low flame. dry fruit will taste better).


STEP-3:   Now add grated dry coconut in it and roast for two to three minutes. Then turn off the gas and take out the roasted mixture in another vessel and let the mixture cool completely.


STEP-4:   When the mixture cools completely, add cardamom powder, powdered sugar and mix well (you can reduce the sweetness according to your taste).


STEP-5:  Then mix cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins and prepare the stuffing mixture. Now in a pot, grind the lamb with a fork.


STEP-6:   Add a spoonful of ghee to the maida and mix it well with your hands (adding enough to loosen the flour while closing the dough).


STEP-7:   Then add normal water little by little and make medium hard flour. Knead the kneaded dough for four to five minutes so that the dough becomes soft. Now, if you can make small puris out of the kneaded flour, make small luva. Make a thin puri out of the luwa made.


STEP-8:   After a little puri is made, take one puri and put one or two spoons of stuffing in the middle, put a finger of milk or a finger of water on all the edges of the puri, close the puri from the other side and make a half circle.


STEP-9:   Now from one side, with the help of hand, go to the edges little by little, so that all the holes are prepared. 


STEP-10:   Once the ghooghra is ready, heat ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat on gas.


STEP-11:   When the ghee or oil is hot, add a few drops one by one and fry until golden from all sides. Thus, when all the ghoogras are wasted, allow the ghoogras to cool down completely, then you can put it in an airtight container and eat it whenever you want to eat it.
